Now that I've got your attention, I could do with some advice:
I have fitted a narrowed beam with a forksy adjuster to my 64 bus and the ride is very bouncy. I have can to the conculsion that because the torsion leaves are shorter they do not give enough flex.
Has anybody out there had this problem? How did you solve it?
Could I remove a torsion leave to make the ride softer or is it possible to recalibrate the amount of torsion in the leaves by some sort of clever heat treatment jiggery pokery?
Is anyone driving a bus with a torsion leave removed? Or is this just dangerous?
Any advice greatly appreciated!
