Bernie - I haven't contacted him yet. I only seem to get any free time late in the evening. I keep thinking I'll leave it for a bit and then replace with stainless steel.

I used to own this 1997 Mexican beetle. I sold it in 2002 and it still occasionally turns up on ebay.

This is my KG the morning after I bought it in January. Drove back to Durham from Oldham on a very cold morning. No problems, though. It's an amazing little car.
