After a slow stripdown starting back in June (this year), I managed to ship the kids and the wife off for a few hours, Wayne came around ane we started on the pans!



Body lifted and pan rolled out.



Drivers side had a few holes dotted about.






Passenger floor was a bit better!


My apprentice! Now he's finished Helens bug he needed another project before starting on his bus!





Back corner mid-clean up.


Passenger floor in. We were both surprised at how good a fit they were!




Both pans in, work in progress.



Ran out of wire so have a few spots to weld next week and then a good lick of POR15!




Heater channels will be next, so any top tips would be appreciated!

Looking good Craig, tips on the channels, take measurements from A to B pillars, only tack them in place then check for lining up with the pan, only take them off one at a time or your car will fold in half :lol:

Right, the pans are in and sealed! Cleaned the black transit paint of the pans and the gunk of the bulkhead - now bare metal. Tunnel stripped of tar board and cleaned up (not to bare metal though). Now the question.........can I just slap the POR 15 straight on or do I need to prep using the marine clean and metal ready first? All recommendations or alternative paint methods welcome!
