Hello
Can anyone help me try and source a couple of engine plates. I dont know what their name is or the part number but i'm missing them from my bay.ni have them on my beetle but i've been told they are hard to find. Can't seem to find them on the net but doesnt help when i dont know what they're called. Its the last piece for my engine i nee I've been told they act as heat deflectors to take it away from the engine bay.
I've (hopefully) attached a photo of the one on the beetle. Angle isnt great but hope it shows it ok.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

It would be easier to identify it if you could provide your year/model.

Aye, you're probably right :oops:

The photo is from my 73 1300 beetle but i need them for my 72 riviera bus (1600, not the original engine). Dont really want to remove them from the beetle even though i do alot more miles in the bus thought i'd try and source them first.

Picture isnt great, not from the best angle but any help would be much appreciated, cheers for the reply.
