It's not so much relating to a car but thought someone might be able to help or point me in the right direction. I have a Honda Fireblade which a week ago i had a slight spill resulting in me ending up with a broken collar bone and the bike ending up with damage to the crank case. The crank case suffered 2 small(ish) pieces being broken off around where the alternator cover attaches - i recovered 1 of the pieces but couldn't find the other. My query is i'm trying to find someone who can repair the alloy crank case so i don't have to buy a replacement engine. Can anyone help or does anyone know of a welder who's capable of repairing an alloy crank case? Cheers folks |

i got a bit of ali welding done on an engine cover a few years ago down north shields fish quay, can't remember company name but its just to left as you look at tyne tyres on tanners bank, its right in the corner diagonally across the open land. they aren't the quickest mind, they'll say a day or two but it might take two weeks

failing that come see me at advanced radiators just past b&q at scotsward road, no idea on price but we can dye pen test it to make sure it wont leak
