I'm pondering which seats to put in my bug, it had some rather chavvy race seats which I have banished to the back of the garage so I could look for some tidy Porsche tombstone seats, I could go for the obvious... Beetle seats - but I would need to fit original runners back in...

Then I thought... I wonder what other folk are parking their butts on?

So come on what non-standard seats have you got in your bugs?

I have seen some tidy Alfa seats anyone tried putting them in?

not the best of pix to show these but ive got a nice little set of Empi buckets in mine, they are dead comfy!!!

got these in mine at the moment.
Despite the horrible car they came out of (MGZR) they are really comfy and supportive and suprisingly well made.
I think they have a bit of a retro look to them as well.
Picked them up locally off of Ebay so may be worth keeping your eye out on there.

nice seats bry, but i think you'd be better cutting a hole and inserting a bucket in those to collect the shit that that car is capable of scaring out of you

I've also got MGZR seats in my beetle. A right bargain at £40 for the pair complete from a local breakers. Quick clean and there were as good as new.

Well until I have enough wedge for Porsche tombstones I've decided to go with a nice interior from an MGZR thanks for the tip guys.

Picked up a full interior for £80 from the breakers, and thanks to a bit or angle steel from Mick I've got the drivers seat in, should have it completed next weekend.
